The Vulpis is dressed in brass for a more vintage and particular character.
Fox Knives® has been interacting with a dynamic and competitive market for over four decades and has chosen to follow the path of research and development with a bold approach full of personality: a constantly evolving design.
The VULPIS series was born from the need to create a compact, versatile pocket knife with a modern style that creates a perfect combination with historical products. The inspiration for the creation of this line comes from DUCA, the name of the multipurpose knife for the people of Maniago, a knife born in the second half of the 19th century in Maniago when hunting penknives with blades of different sizes, ivory toothpicks and tweezers were produced to remove the thorns. These knives were presented at the National Exhibition of Turin in 1888 by the Bet Giovanni company which won the gold medal for the quality of its products and it was thus that, most likely, Luigi Amedeo of Savoy, Duke of the Abruzzi, wanted to go to one of the company's two shops in Turin where he saw and ordered the four-blade pocket knife which he chose as an integral part of the equipment for the expedition to the North Pole which he captained in 1899.
