The Boker Plus Mini Tracker, designed by Dave Wenger, convinces as an extremely stable outdoor knife with a massive blade made of 1095 carbon steel, which has excellent corrosion protection thanks to the abrasion-resistant powder coating.The Michigan knifemaker wanted knives, axes and swords as a child and followed in his grandfather's footsteps early in life. This is how the long-time blacksmith became the teacher of his inexperienced but extremely ambitious grandson, who has been designing and making knives full time for many years.
The broad blade of the sturdy survival knife has two different sharpening planes and is ideal for cutting, scraping, digging and prying. The optimal balance between blade thickness and length, as well as the ergonomic shape of the finely textured Micarta cheek pads, allow for fatigue-free work. Supplied with a belt adapter and a perfectly fitting Kydex sheath, the decorative hollow brass rivet also serves as a lanyard hole.
This updated version features a full tang blade and a handle held in place by heavy-duty screws for maximum stability. Includes a custom-fit Kydex sheath with belt loop.
