ZERO TOLERANCE 0460
The Zero Tolerance 0450CF, designed by Dmitry Sinkevich, is one of the best selling ZT knives. but some of the users have asked for something more-A little bigger, a little more curve in the handle, a little more carbon fiber, a little more than Sinkevich. ZT's answer? the new 0460.
The steel of the blade is S35VN for greater resistance to chipping of the wire without loss of resistance. Rich in niobium, vanadium and chromium carbide, it allows a sharp blade and a long-lasting edge. For a more aggressive look, ZT performs a two-tone finish: Stonewashed on the blade surface and satin on the bevel.
Based on Dmitry's Polychotky jr, the 0460 titanium-carbon handle has a pronounced and ergonomic curvature to adapt perfectly to the hollow of the hand.
The front cheek is in bronzed carbon fiber. This relatively recent composite material offers the benefits of carbon fiber, to the possibility of coloring the material - in the case of 0460 the color is a very attractive bronze.ZT has partially worked in 3D the front cheek to give depth and greater grip.
The back of the handle is in titanium with frame lock also in titanium and a steel locking insert. A black anodized aluminum spacer adds a decorative touch. The reversible ambidextrous clip is coated with black Teflon®.
