The 420HC steel blade has higher amounts of chromium and carbon to improve hardness and corrosion resistance. It is an excellent steel for every day: robust, corrosion-resistant, easy to sharpen and maintains a good edge. The Black Wash finish not only gives a beautiful lived effect but also provides an additional measure of protection to the blade.
The cheeks are worked from a block of very light blue anodized aluminum in navy.
