The Selkirk is a great survival tool for outdoor situations. It is named after the rugged Selkirk mountain range that begins in the Northern Panhandle of Idaho. In addition to the 420HC steel blade, it features a micarta handle with steel reinforcements (the back support can be used as a hammer) and an injection-molded polypropylene sheath for horizontal or vertical carrying. A fire lighter and a whistle are inserted in the sheath.
