ERMES is the commemorative knife developed in collaboration with the Helicopter Regiment for Special Operations (REOS) which is part of the army's aviation command.

REOS is the operational unit of helicopter operators in support of special forces made up of specifically trained personnel, particularly trained and equipped in order to support military activities in every operational context.

The stylized guards of the knife represent the wings present in the heraldic coat of arms of the department.

The steel used is the reliable Bölher N690Co heat treated at 58 HRC. Fiberglass-reinforced polyamide FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) was chosen for the handle.

The hybrid Kydex and fabric sheath is fitted with belt or belt attachment with MOLLE interface system.

The Ordinanza version has a satin blade and an ABS case
