The Para 3 takes all the features and benefits of the Para Military 2 and distills them into a more compact cutting tool. The three inch blade is made of CPM® S30V® steel and is completely flat. The blade's hallmark, the Round Hole ™ brand, clearly identifies it as a member of the Spyderco family and is fully accessible to allow for quick, one-handed opening.

The Para 3 features a lightweight construction style with textured G-10 grips. This reduces the thickness of the handle and provides excellent structural support for the blade's patented Compression Lock ™. Located in the back of the handle, this high-strength mechanism locks the blade securely in use, yet allows it to be closed easily and safely with one hand. A four-position hourglass clip allows for ambidextrous carrying.
