The Tenacious has long been the centerpiece of Spyderco's Value Folder line. The Tenacious Lightweight raised the bar even further, replacing the original G-10 grips with injection-molded fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) which reduced the weight of the knife by nearly 12 percent and adds extreme grip security of Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture ™ model.
All other features are consistent with the original model, including a fully flat 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, fully skeletonized stainless steel liners, a four position pocket clip, a sturdy LinerLock and a choice of PlainEdge ™, CombinationEdge ™ or SpyderEdge ™ as blade configurations.
