The Para 3 takes up all the features and advantages of the Para Military 2 and distills them into a more compact cutting tool. The three-inch blade is made of CPM® S30V® steel and is completely flat. The distinctive brand of the blade, the Round Hole ™ brand, clearly identifies it as a member of the Spyderco family and is fully accessible to allow for quick one-handed opening.

The Para 3 features a lightweight construction style with textured G-10 grips. This reduces the thickness of the handle and provides excellent structural support for the blade's patented Compression Lock ™. Located in the back of the handle, this high-strength mechanism locks the blade securely during use, but allows you to close it easily and safely with one hand. A four-position hourglass clip allows for ambidextrous transport.
