The Skog takes its name from the Scandinavian word "forest". It is slightly more robust than typical carving knives and has better versatility for outdoor activities.
It has the ergonomics that distinguish Helle knives, with a very small finger notch to guide the hand without limiting the grip.
The Scandinavian flat blade has a drop point line. and is short enough for maximum control when cutting, but long enough for other types of cuts.
