The Walther Rotex RM8 Varmint PCP air rifle impresses with its sporty and robust appearance, sophisticated engineering and accurate performance in sport and recreational shooting.
While the classic Rotex comes with a traditional wooden stock, the Varmint satisfies the needs of those who prefer a more weather resistant material. With its thumbhole stock made of high-strength polymer, it is more resistant to scratches and offers a particularly high level of grip in wet conditions thanks to the Walther-typical HiGrip surface on the pistol grip and handguard.
Inside you will find a precision and reliable compressed air system, made in Germany. The pellets are fired from the 8-round aluminum rotary magazine by operating the generously sized cocking lever. The 500 mm barrel, made by Lothar Walther, ensures a stable trajectory and has a muzzle brake with ½" UNF thread for mounting a compensator. The energy is supplied by a 230 bar compressed air cylinder installed in permanently with built-in filling valve and pressure gauge. The travel of the first stage of the trigger can be adjusted to your individual preferences.
The Rotex RM8 is built for use with a telescopic sight and therefore has an 11mm dovetail rail.
