PCP ( Pre Charged Pneumatic ) air rifles adopt a system that uses a high pressure tank consisting of a steel cylinder mounted parallel to the barrel and integral with the weapon.
This tank is loaded at high pressure (about 200 Bar). The charge is carried out by means of a special pump (similar to that for bicycles) capable of delivering pressures up to 200 Bar, which is connected to the tank by means of a flexible hose called a whisk.
Alternatively, charging can be carried out using a common scuba tank. In the latter case, recharging will take place in a very short time.
This system offers the advantage of significantly reducing the recoil at the moment of shooting to the advantage of silence and precision.
The Turkish house Hatsan faces the PCP market with AT44-10 rifles. Perhaps the cheapest PCP air rifles currently on the Italian market.
Caliber 4.5 mm comes to deliver the surprising power of 30 joules.
10-round magazine, two supplied, removable tank with refill fitting included. The slide with double dovetail allows the mounting of both weaver and 11 mm bindings. Side lever for loading the pellet into the barrel.
The viewfinder is adjustable in inclination with a wheel placed under it. Height adjustable notches and drift.
