The PCP Coyote air rifle is the marriage of the best that the companies Gamo and BSA can offer today.
It is the perfect summary of English mechanics combined with the technology of the best shooting components produced in Spain.
The Coyote PCP from Gamo is the latest addition to the PCP family of the Spanish company. Being a pre-compressed air rifle, the propellant reserve is contained in the cylinder under the barrel, equipped with an analogue pressure gauge on the front, to always have residual autonomy under control. The possibility of rapid reloading is very practical, without removing the propellant tank from the weapon, simply by connecting the supplied fitting.
Loading takes place through a manual shutter, which picks up the shot from a ten-shot rotating magazine. Thanks to clear numerical indexes, the shooter always knows how many dots are left.
The barrel, made by cold hammering, ends with a screwed muzzle brake, designed not so much to dampen the recoil, but to allow an optimal transition of the pellet in the delicate moment in which it leaves the muzzle, when the presence of turbulences could decrease its precision.
The barrel and mechanics are completely made in Birmingham by BSA.
BSA has long experience in the production of barrels and boasts an important record: it is the only large-scale manufacturer to use cold hammered barrels on its compressed and pre-compressed air rifles. BSA rods are not produced from pipes, but from special steel bars, drilled and cold-forged. A single rod requires more than 35,000 hammers and when finished it is 15% longer than the starting bar. After the forging process, the steel becomes even more resistant to wear, aged in the grain and finished in a mirror. Through this procedure it is possible to create extremely precise grooves, as well as a slight and gradual choking, which positively reflects on the final precision.
The minimum loading effort, the high autonomy of the cylinder and the reserve of pellets in the magazine, mean that the Coyote is not relegated to the thoughtful shot, but can also develop high cadences, typical of recreational use.
All the parts that make up this fabulous rifle outside the mechanics are produced in Spain, where all Gamo production is based.
The trigger group that mounts this exceptional rifle is produced by Gamo, the trigger group in question is called CAT (Custom Action Trigger) and today it is the top that is produced by the Spanish house.
The peculiarity is the possibility of the double variation of both the pre-travel and the final release (explanatory video alongside). Inside the trigger guard there is also a safe, easily maneuverable with the index finger.
The carciatura is made of ultra lightened thermoplastics, it is the same that Gamo mounts on his best CFR springer rifle.
The stock is equipped with an adjustable recoil absorption system, SWA (Shock Wave Absorber), which can cushion up to 74% of the rifle's recoil.
The barrel end on the Coyote model is threaded for mounting tension compensators.
Being a shotgun devoted to precision, there are no metal sights, but only equipped with a 11 mm rail for mounting any type of pointing system.
Gamo Coyote Black is available in a 4.5 mm caliber in a free sale version (<7.5 Joule).
Tank loadable up to 200 bar with a capacity of 232 cc.
