The sleek Ruger Targis Hunter looks more like a high-tech CO2 or PCP shotgun than a classic swing-action shotgun.
With the exception of the bright red front sight and the distinctive Ruger logo, it forgoes flashy colors and prefers to emphasize its tactical character.
As a result, the sturdy polymer stock is all black. The scratch-resistant surface can withstand heavy use and the textured areas on the pistol grip and forearm ensure excellent grip in wet weather. Shooters can choose between an elevation and windage adjustable micrometer sight and a 3-9 x 32 telescopic sight, both of which are included. The universal Picatinny rail allows you to mount other sights as well.
The two-stage trigger stroke can be adjusted to your preference.
