The X-Terra series metal detectors are versatile and designed to offer excellent performance, combined with extreme flexibility and ease of use.
X-Terra 505 (black color) is the intermediate model of Minelab's X-Terra series.
On the large LCD screen you can easily see all the important information to identify the detected targets. X-Terra 505 provides greater precision in discrimination, detection depth and better and more precise ground balance.
The possibility of equipping the metal detector with seven different search plates (optional) offers greater versatility.
X-Terra 505 is suitable for research on any type of terrain and on the beach.
General features

Easy to use. Switch on the X-Terra 505 metal detector and start the search immediately. With three preset Discrimination Patterns, this metal detector is ideal for beginners and also for experienced seekers.
Greater precision in identifying good targets. Three different ways to identify targets before digging: numeric identifier, audio identifier and discrimination segment on a 19 segment scale.
Customizable discrimination. Discrimination segments can be easily selected to accept desired targets or reject those you don't want to dig. All of them can be automatically saved for the next search.
Adjustable ground balance. It cancels the false signals caused by the mineralization of the soil.
VFLEX technology (3 frequencies - 3 kHz, 7.5 kHz, 18.75 kHz). You can change the frequency of the metal detector by simply changing the search plate.

VFLEX - The X-Terra series uses VFLEX digital technology which improves standard single frequency technology. With VFLEX technology the frequency of the metal detector changes simply by changing the plate in use.
